Stina Resting's MA Fashion Design collection as a part of TENT exhibition at London Design Fair.

Sat - Sun: 11am - 6pm

The collection is about the concept of 'wrapping' and aesthetic sustainability. It is a mix between ready-to-wear and experimental garments, utilizing industrial and everyday use materials. It stresses the beauty in the bizarre. On a material level the focus is also on time. The materials might not be environmentally sustainable, but they might be aesthetically - elaborate detailing shows the time spent on production of garments as well as lifespan of a product which can be prolonged by craft and use of embroidery as both a means of decoration and a repair. The collection is an invitation to slow down, fashion design is a very time consuming field which needs to be acknowledged more by both the public as well as designers, producers and consumers.

Stina Resting is a semifinalist of H&M Design Awards 2018.
